Mark began his career in the corridors of Wells Fargo, where he honed the technical mastery of mortgage lending that would become his foundation. But it was the families sitting across from him — anxious, hopeful, trusting — that taught him what no institution could: that every loan is really a life decision.
In 2001, Mark founded LowerMortgage with a conviction that the mortgage process was unnecessarily complex. He stripped away the bureaucracy, the jargon, and the impersonal service that defined big banks, and replaced it with something radical — transparency, speed, and genuine personal care.
